MY MAIL WAS LATE!
A Rottweiler and Pit-Bull mix held a postal carrier in Hanover, PA. hostage for 2 hours. Robin Barton had to summon help by cell phone on Wednesday when the dogs attacked and flattened the tires on her mail delivery vehicle. The responding police cruiser suffered the same fate. Stephanie Dekelbaum, the dogs' owner, called them "generally sweethearts" and blamed the attack on a tire toy the dogs had recently been given.

A LIGHTER MEATLOAF
A cat named Meatloaf who took a 3 week cross country ride locked in a
storage container is heading home to Florida. Arizona Human Society
officials say the 2 year old gray cat apparently crawled into the large locker
in Pompano Beach as a man loaded it for a move to Phoenix. The container
spent time in a Florida warehouse and on a semitrailer before being delivered to
a company's Phoenix facility. A worker heard a cat meowing inside the
container late Tuesday and found him hungry and thirsty but unharmed.
Meatloaf lost about half his body weight and will be given time to recover
before flying him home.

Installing Your Husband...

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Signed,Desperate

***
DEAR DESPERATE,

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck,

Tech Support

GETTING A REAL EDUCATION
According to a news report, a certain private charter school in SanAntonio was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it onin the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would presstheir lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man, an old retired Army Master Sergeant, would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal, who also was a former Army Chief WarrantOfficer, decided that something had to be done.

He called all thegirls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. Heexplained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem forthe old sergeant who had to clean the mirrors every nightTo demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, he askedthe maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, andcleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip printson the mirror.
