ASSAULT WITH A FART
Joes Cruz of S. Charleston W. VA. got pulled for driving without his headlights on. After failing 3 sobriety tests and being arrested he allegedly passed gas and waved the gaseous smell towards the officer. According to the complaint: " Mr. Cruz scooted his chair toward Parsons, lifted his leg passed gas loudly," Cruz, according to complaint, then fanned the gas toward the officer.
"The gas was very odorous and created contact of an insulting or provoking nature with Patrolman Parsons,"

WE'RE MOVING PLANES HERE
This doesn't exactly inspire confidence in your airline. After an airplane came down with mechanical problems the airport sent out a crew, not to fix the jet, but to PUSH IT! Crew and passengers watched in amazement as several vehicles arrived with sirens blaring, and 30 people jumped off the trucks and started to push the airplane. It took over 2 hours to get it back to the terminal. They pushed the plane complete with the 7 person crew and passengers on board for the 2 hour "ride." They said faulty hydraulics prevented them from hooking up a truck to the plane.



THE FLYING MAN
Yves 'Jet Man' Rossy plans on flying over the 21 mile English Channel today without a plane. Instead he will use a rocket pack strapped to his back. He plans on the flight taking about 12 minutes. jump from a plane more than 8,000ft above ground, fire up his jet-propelled wings and soar across the Channel. He'll hit speeds of about 125 MPH. With no actual steering he'll use his head and back to control his flight.

CAT GETS MAN IN DOGHOUSE
Laura Marchesi got animal rights campaigners on husband Allessandro for putting her cat Ivano out on the balcony. He was upset when the cat to a whiz in his briefcase, so he put it out on the balcony of their Parm, Italy apartment. Mrs Marchesi said she found the cat shiveringand hungry after spending the night trying to get back into their apartment. Allesandro has been ordered to pay $800 for vets' expenses and emotional damage. Hmmm, I wonder how their relationship is progressing?



BUT WHERE"S THE BEER ?
A 21 year old unnamed man in Fargo, ND. has been arrested for stealing a beer truck. An empty beer truck. Sgt. Jeff Skuza said, "He'd stolen it thinking he'd get some beer, and it was completely empty." He dumped the empty truck next to a river and was arrested on a tip from a friend.
